Communication is the basic necessity in the life of humans. Many companies are maintaining the level of communication for effective interaction between the employees. There are many types of communication in an organization. Written and verbal are two forms of communication which are in everyone’s life.

Employee communication includes the communication between the employee and the employer. Communication between the boss and the workers is also essential for the growth of the company. Many protocols are made for providing the guidelines for effective communication. Surveys are becoming popular medium for understanding the thoughts of the employees in the companies.

Following pointers describe about the employee communication surveys:

  1. Surveys are conducted by the company to understand the thinking and reality about the communication between the employees and the boss. Sometimes problems are faced by the employees in lower level of hierarchy to express the ideas of higher level people. Top management in the companies is not easily reachable.
  2. Surveys prepared by the professionals can be of many forms. If the questions are straight forward then yes and no answers are required and there is no need to make the form for elaborate answers. Design of survey takes time due to involvement of too many heads.
  3. Professionals often design the surveys by keeping in mind the necessary points which are essential for the organization and the employees. Surveys which have been conducted by the company professionals earlier are also taken into consideration before planning the survey.
  4. There is no need to reveal the identity of the employee during the gathering of information because employees can give the wrong report due to fear of bad publicity. There are many circumstances in which the employee has to suffer due to outspoken nature.
  5. Survey of every employee in the large organization is quite daunting task and it can take long time to complete the task. It is recommended to do the survey of employees in random manner so that the results are manipulative. Often employees discuss the survey questions and then decide the answers. This type of habit should be avoided for successful survey.
  6. Results of the surveys are required to be distributed among employee to understand the real meaning of survey solution. Implementation is also important as soon as possible to make the survey into effect.

There should be competition among people for completing the surveys quickly and suitable reward should be offered to the winning team.
