Leadership is by no mean an easy task. I really feel that you will be able to lead a team if you have guts as well as if you are respected by your team members. You will definitely not be allowed to become a team leader. In fact there is a definite procedure which you will have to follow if you really want to become a team leader. One thing for sure and that is you will have to be innovative. Because if you are innovative then I really feel that you will be able to complete any kind of project.

Hence in order to become a team leader or a project manager or some kind of leader then you will have to follow following points which are really a must. They are as follows:

1. You will have to be innovative
This is really a must because each time you will get a new project you will be asked to do it in a new style. You will have to talk to the client and then understand what he really wants. You will also be required to put forward in front of the client your innovative ideas and check out whether they like it or not. I really feel that this is really not an easy task.

2. Good communication skills
I really feel that you should have good communication skills. Only then you will be able to tackle the clients in best possible manner. Only then you will be able express yourself in front of the team members. I really feel that communication skill is the most important thing. If you will not have this quality then you will never be allowed to lead any team. In fact you will definitely find lots of difficult in leading a team.

3. Self respect
This is really very important. You will be able to lead the team only if the team members are respecting you. If they will not respect you then you will definitely find lots of difficulty as far as the leadership is concerned. You must have watched the sports. However my logic is effective in any kind of sports. Suppose you are leading a team. And suppose your team members who are the other players do not respect you then will your team win the battle of supremacy. I really feel that you will never be able to win the battle.

These are some of the points which you will have to keep in mind if you want to lead your team in proper way. I feel from my heart that you can be a really good leader if you have good communication skills and good thinking mind. This is really applicable to all of us.
