Your CV is very important. Yes it’s quiet sure that your CV cannot win any job for you but this is also true that a good     CV can win lots of interview.  A recruiter looks on your CV for not more than 10 t 15 seconds. You have to make sure that your CV is able to catch the eye in that time. Otherwise it will be a waste and will be thrown in the dust bean. The question now arises that how to prepare our CV.

I would try to give answer to this question by following points:

1.Use relevant titles and headings:
You should clearly go through the job detail and find out what are required. It’s really necessary. Let’s take an example. If you are applying for database administrator then you will have to use titles and skills related to database administration. Just suppose that the recruiter is searching for those who are good at SQL server series and you have written oracle then how can you expect the job. Your effort will really go wasted.
You should make sure that you are selling your skill and how can you sell cauliflower to one who is looking for chicken. Also how can you sell him the ingredients for pizza if he is expecting the ingredients for butter chicken? I hope you got the point. Yes it’s tough to adjust your skills according to the company but you should realize that you are not required if your skills do not matches to that of the company. I would also recommend that don’t feel frightened and just go through the require skills by the company. If you are not able to adjust your skills, then it will be better that you don’t apply for the job. Wait for your turn and then only apply for the job. However, if you can adjust yourself then there is no problem.

2.Create the skills that sells:
You should realize that you are a seller and the recruiters are the buyers. You should only put forward those skills that are there for sale. You will really loose if you do not realize this point.

3.Create a good design:
You should use the best design for you resume that catches the eyes on first reading. You are really wasting your time if you are not doing so. I hope you realize this point and use the best design. I know you will certainly like to know what will be the best design. I tell you that the best design do not contain lots of color. You can opt for black and white strategy. This is the best option. You should also use table to the best extent.

Apart from this you should also make sure that you present a good cover letter. The recruiter first eye on the cover letter and then only he go for the CV. Make sure you prepare a good and to the point cover letter.
